TIM, Telecom Italia Mobile starts sales of a new service in Italy: My Notes by TIM Today the leading mobile operator in Italy, TIM, starts sales of My Notes by TIM, i.e. Anoto enabled paper-based services on the Italian market. The initial offer includes services enabling handwritten text to be sent directly from paper as a graphical e-mail and fax to a PC or a mobile phone. The starter kit from TIM includes the Chatpen, a digital pen enabling Anoto functionality by Sony Ericsson, digital paper from Esselte and digital Post-IT Notes from 3M. What is required in order to use My Notes by TIM? · No subscription is required to access the service. TIM is the only operator offering this service in Italy. Initial Service Charge will be: 0.25 Euro per Graphical Email via 3M Post-It 0.50 Euro per Graphical Email via Esselte Notebook 1.00 Euro per Graphical Fax. · A Sony Ericsson Chatpen - the digital pen enabling Anoto functionality that you write with, which handles the transmission to the mobile phone. · A Sony Ericsson mobile phone with Bluetooth(TM) functionality. The phone receives the information from Chatpen and forwards it. Models T68i, T68, T39 and T39m support the technology. · Digital paper enabling Anoto functionality, there are different types of paper available, printed by 3M and Esselte. The TIM starter kit is sold at in Il Telefonino stores, Buffetti stores, Media World Stores and online shopping on TIM portal.
