Birmingham law firm Anthony Collins Solicitors boosts expanding team with new partners and Head of Marketing.
Birmingham law firm Anthony Collins Solicitors, already one of the largest and well known law firms within the Midlands, is delighted to announce the internal appointment of three new partners: Matthew Gregson, Richard Brooks and Chris Plumley, boosting its partner team to over 20.

Back in 1999 Matthew joined the firm as a trainee solicitor. Since qualifying he has specialised in employment especially within the health and social care sector. Over recent years he has built a number of key relationships with many clients including the United Kingdom Homecare Association (UKHCA) and Future Health and Social Care.
Originally a specialist in all aspects of procurement and construction law, Richard has become an expert in the area of fuel poverty and carbon issues, having recently spoken extensively on these subjects. With the many EU targets to reduce carbon emissions by 2026, Richard has become increasingly involved in advising clients on micro-generation, feed-in tariff schemes (FITS) and the Green Deal under the new Energy Bill.
Chris joined Anthony Collins Solicitors as the local government lead just over a year ago. Since then he has been instrumental in leading the firm’s successful tender to become one of just five law firms to advise the East Midlands LawShare Partnership, giving the firm access to 54 councils and a range of NHS bodies, and creating lots of opportunities for work in other parts of the firm.
Another recent addition to the growing team is the appointment of a new Head of Marketing, Claire Ingram. With a strong marketing background spanning 17 years, Claire has worked extensively in the financial services industry for companies including Lex Autolease (part of the Lloyds Banking Group), HSBC and Alliance & Leicester. enior Partner, Romaine Thompson, concluded: “All these new appointments will build on our skills and experience in disciplines which complement and align with our main sector emphases.
