OLAVI KUUSELA HAS RESIGNED FROM HIS POSITION AS A BOARD MEMBER


Olavi Kuusela, EVP of Raisio Nutrition, has resigned from his position
as a Board Member of Lännen Tehtaat plc with effect from September 26,
2003.
