APIS expands on new premises in Klara Zenit
APIS expands on new premises in Klara Zenit APIS has signed a lease for new premises in the Klara Zenit building in Stockholm. The new premises are situated in the middle of downtown Stockholm, right near the central station, the metro and the new Arlanda 2 Express airport shuttle. The premises have about 2,700 m of floor space and will house both the head office and a specially designed Training Centre for APIS's training courses. APIS plans to move in during the spring of 2002. APIS is currently in the midst of a very expansive phase and demand for the company's training courses in mobile telecoms and mobile Internet is great. Turnover has increased by about 130 percent during the past year, and APIS has grown by more than 100 percent per year since the start in 1994. "We have to plan for a continued strong influx of course and seminar participants," says Jörgen Mannheimer, President of APIS. "It will be both efficient and inspiring to have our head office and training courses under the same roof. The location is very attractive, not least for our many foreign course participants." Klara Zenit is one of Stockholm's biggest building projects right now. In the block at Drottninggatan/Mäster Samuelsgatan, which contains Postgirot's old premises, a comprehensive renovation is taking place with construction and remodelling of offices, shops and residences. APIS's premises are located at the very top in a newly built storey. A hundred or so apartments are being built on the roof. "APIS fits in well with the mix of media and high-tech companies setting up shop in Klara Zenit," says Wihlborg's president Erik Paulsson. Leases in the same building have been signed with tenants such as C Technologies, Anoto, E+T Förlag and Svenska Dagbladet.
