DistinctDev, Creators of ‘The Moron Test’, Head West
Seattle, WA -- April 25th, 2011 -- DistinctDev, Inc., the Florida-based developers behind one of the top selling mobile games of all time, The Moron Test, today announced they are relocating their studio headquarters to Seattle, Washington. The announcement comes days after the two-year anniversary of the game's launch.
"The choice to relocate to Seattle was an easy one for us,” explained DistinctDev CEO Berkeley Malagon. “We considered San Francisco, but if you’re a small gaming startup looking to grow your team, you just can’t beat Seattle’s blend of a world-class gaming talent pool, affordable office spaces, and amazing tax structure.”

DistinctDev’s relocation is the first step in a plan to grow the three-person shop and explore new play and monetization mechanics for The Moron Test. The game has been downloaded over 14 million times across all of the major smartphone platforms, and versions for iPads, Macs, PCs, and netbooks are coming soon.
“The three of us have been able to accomplish quite a bit, but we see that it’s time to find great people to join the DistinctDev family,” adds Berkeley. “We’re confident our move to Seattle will give us access to the cream of the gaming crop.”
