Aptic crowns a strong year with the announcement that the fintech company has been selected as a finalist in the Serendipity Challenge, which will be decided during the annual Almedalen Week in Visby. The competition is geared towards entrepreneurial companies that draw on a unique innovation or business concept that gives it potential to commercialize globally.

Aptic, who develop innovative credit management solutions, continued its growth journey during the year and is in the finals when 50 of the most innovative and promising companies in the Nordics compete for the titles “Startup Company of the Year” and “Growth Company of the Year”.

- We are of course thrilled that Aptic is one of the finalists. We’ve had a strong year in which we've also geared up for continued expansion toward new geographical markets. Our platform is already being used by some of the leading financial services and e-commerce companies in Northern Europe. We combine solid industry knowledge in terms of credit management and financial flows with cutting-edge IT expertise. That has given Aptic a strong niche position, says Knut Eirik Storsul, CEO of Aptic.

This is the sixth year that Serendipity Challenge is held, and the competition is open to all Swedish and Nordic entrepreneur-led companies in startup and growth phase regardless of industry. The competition highlights Sweden and the Nordic region as hotbeds for innovative, emerging enterprises that change, improve, and develop their industries on a global level. The companies selected as finalists have been evaluated by an expert jury, where great emphasis has been placed on scalability and demonstrable growth potential.
