Biggest “Tree Hugging” Event to be Held at Lake Quinault Lodge on June 8
The Quinault Valley Rainforest is home to six of the largest trees of their species in the world. On June 8, neighbors and tree lovers alike are invited to join the Forest Service, Lake Quinault Lodge and a silviculturist to explore the forest that supports these giants. Trees of the Olympic will include an easy two-mile hike embarking from Lake Quinault Lodge. Along the way, experts will discuss: how these forests are managed, the impact of natural disasters and our attempts to be good stewards of the land.
