Arbesko is now launching an insole made of shock-absorbing X-40 material which not only provides superior cushioning but also gives energy in return, rather like a trampoline. The insole delivers up to 40% enhanced rebound performance.

The new X-40 insole delivers ultimate comfort. The X-40 not only enhances step rebound by 40%, it is also designed to provide arch and heel support, wick away moisture and allow the foot to breathe. The insole provides a whole new dimension of comfort and leaves you with energy at the end of the working day.

Crucial to safety at work
Shoes play a vital role in the safety and health of workers who spend a lot of time on their feet or whose job involves risk of injury. Proper footwear means you are less tired, make fewer mistakes, and minimises wear and tear on the body. This applies as much in factory and industrial settings as in shops and commercial kitchens.

The X-40 has exactly the properties we are looking for when designing insoles. Peter Svensson, Business Manager at Arbesko, says, "It produces a durable and breathable insole that wicks moisture away from the foot and provides the wearer with superior cushioning and rebound. It underscores our promise to deliver quality, ergonomics, comfort and safety".

Starting with six styles
The X-40 insole will be launched in six different styles of shoes from the start and then phased into the rest of the range. They will also be sold separately as accessories. The soles are manufactured by OrthoLite, one of the world's leading producers of insoles.

Market-leading Swedish family business
Arbesko is a family-owned business in its fifth generation with a premier position in the work and protective footwear market in Sweden. The company's development and manufacturing operations are in Sweden. Its head office is in Örebro and its plants are located in Kumla and Strömstad.

Soft shoes, hard facts
The 4-mm-slim          X-40 insole from Arbesko enhances elasticity by 40% and brings added comfort.
It took 10 months     for Arbesko's development team and OrthoLite to design and test the new X-40 insole.
In 1839,           shoes were sold wholesale for the first time in Sweden by Anders Andersson, thus laying the foundation for today's Arbesko.
