  • Capitalized exploration costs for the third quarter amounted to 0.3 (9.0) mkr
  • P/L after tax for the third quarter totaled -1.7 (-2.1) mkr
  • P/L per share for the third quarter totaled -0.16 (-0.26) kr

First nine months (January – September 2012)

  • Capitalized exploration costs for the first nine months amounted to 3.5 (12.7) mkr
  • P/L after tax for the first nine months totaled -4.1 (-5.0) mkr
  • P/L per share for the first nine months totaled -0.38 (-0.64) mkr

Important events during the third quarter

  • Arctic Gold has continued the work directed at the po9litical sector in Kautokeino and national level in Norway 
  • Arctic Gold has participated in activities concerning the Norwegian mineral strategy
  • Arctic Gold has continued with discussions with the municipal administration in Kautokeino regarding what investments the company should partake in that also affect the municipality
  • Arctic Gold continues the dialogue with representatives for the reindeer herding to find mutual solutions

Important events after the end of the reporting period

  • Formannskapet in the Kautokeino municipality approves the mining plans
  • Kautokeino municipal government decides to postpone the decision regarding the mining plans until the Fylkesmann has reviewed the question of conflicts of interest and the factual handling of the case
  • Arctic Gold reviews its other projects and will decide on a new operating plan
  • Fylkesman rejects the conflict of interest situation and considers the factual handling of the case to be correct
