Lofoten Ultra-Trail and Lofoten Skyrace - Svolvær
The Lofoten Ultra-Trail and Lofoten Skyrace offer two of the more enduring challenges in Northern Norway.

The Lofoten Skyrace is a thrilling trail-running event, where runners can choose between a 15 km route or the more demanding 32 km course, both starting and finishing in Svolvær. Both routes starts with steep ascents up Blåtinden and Jomfrutindene, whereas the 32 km route continues deeper into alpine terrain, climbing peaks like Dronningtinden and Simitinden, with over 1,000 metres of total elevation gain. Despite the tough conditions, the course is well-marked and supported, making it a standout in Norway’s growing skyrunning scene.
