Arise AB (publ) signs option agreement for the right to acquire Krange Vind AB

Arise AB (publ) has today signed an option agreement with NordanVind AB for the right to acquire all of the shares in Krange Vind AB, which holds the rights for the Ranasjöhöjden and Salsjöhöjden wind power projects (“the Projects”).

The environmental permits for the Projects have gained legal force and the design of grid connections, including concession applications, are underway. Arise will assume responsibility for and fund the continued development of the Projects for the purpose of selling them on to investors once they are ready to build. The purchase consideration is only payable if and when Arise exercises the right to acquire the Projects.

The Projects are located in the Municipality of Sollefteå. The total installed capacity of the Projects is estimated to be about 180 MW. The aim is to initiate a sales process of the wind farms towards the end of 2019.

Securing the right to acquire the Projects is in line with Arise’s strategy of acquiring and developing attractive wind power projects for onward sale to external investors.
