Increased service life in Arise’s wind farms

Report this content

Following an in-depth technical analysis performed by a third party, the expected economic lifetime for the company’s own wind farms will increase from an average of 25 years to approximately 30 years. This is expected to result in about a MSEK 9 decrease in depreciation annually, starting in August 2020.

”I am delighted that our wind farms are expected to have a 30-year service life following a proper examination. The remaining service life thereby increases from just over 15 to just over 20 years, strengthening the long-term value of our wind farms.”, says Daniel Johansson, CEO.
