Artimplant AGM: BOD authorized to issue new shares The shareholders' annual meeting authorized the board of directors to issue 2 000 000 new shares until the next annual general meeting - at one or several occasions and with or without preferential right for the shareholders. The offered share price shall correspond to the market price at the time of the offering, with a necessary discount for realization. Lennart Ribohn was elected as new member of the board of directors. Akbar Seddigh, Per Flodin, Svante Rasmuson, Helge Ramseng and Anders Cedronius were re-elected. Akbar Seddigh was chosen as chairman at the inaugural board meeting. Artimplant is a biomaterial company focused on unmet needs in the field of orthopedic surgery. Artimplant develops, manufactures and markets biodegradable implants with the aim of recreating an active life. The company's in-house developed biomaterial is based on a new patented technology that opens new market opportunities within orthopedic surgery and numerous other specialist areas where medical needs are large. A ruptured ACL in the knee is one of the most frequent ligament injuries and often leads to lifelong detrimental effects for the injured, and substantial costs to society.
