Artimplant receives CE-certificate for Artelon(TM) Surgical Suture Artimplant AB, a Swedish biomaterials company, has been granted CE- certification for its ArtelonTM Surgical Suture, i.e. approval to market the product in Europe. The ArtelonTM Surgical Suture, is the company's third CE-marked product based on its proprietary Artelon(TM) biomaterials technology. The suture received 510(k) clearance by the FDA in November 2003.
