Three-month interim report 1999 * In April 1999, Artimplant and Mölnlycke Health Care (MHC) signed an agreement concerning a long term research and development collaboration. The object is to create an additional technological platform for MHC's future product generations within the area of advanced wound care. * Currently there are three clinical trials underway: a multicenter study based on at least 200 patients with anterior cruciate ligament injuries in the knee, a pilot study including five patients for treatment of injured thumb ligament as well as a study including ten patients with arthrosis at the base of the thumb. The protocols for the first multicenter study have been adapted to the regulations stipulated by the FDA. * Revenues for the group amounted to 4,7 MSEK (0,1 MSEK). Artimplant's operating result amounted to -2,2 MSEK (-1,2 MSEK). Result after financial items amounted to -2,0 MSEK (-0,6 MSEK).
