Aspera Orchestrator Automates Ingest, Movement, Management and Reporting of Media Assets

Following a successful deployment of a series of Aspera software products including: Aspera Enterprise Server, Aspera faspex, Aspera Console, Aspera Client and Aspera SDK; Encompass’ business processes necessitated a workflow solution to automate the movement of files and the processing of digital assets. Users needed to be able to view a synopsis screen of where content is in the supply chain and be able to query it for the current state of the specific asset. This solution allows for digitized assets to be moved automatically from one location to another and to be moved manually when an action is triggered by user input using an Orchestrator screen. Files are tracked during each stage of the process through a search on media ID and displayed in a visual representation showing the current state of the assets before being deleted from the system once a particular stage of the process is reached.
