Annual general meeting of Aspiro AB (publ) Board of Directors At today's annual general meeting of Aspiro AB, Tomas Althén, Stig M Herbern, Lars H Bruzelius and Sven-Åke Bergkvist were reelected as members of the board of directors, while Lars Jarnryd and Claes de Neergaard were elected as new members. At the board meeting following the election, Tomas Althén was appointed board chairman. Disposal of the accumulated deficit The annual general meeting adopted the board's proposal that the accumulated deficit recorded in the adopted balance sheet be settled against the share premium reserve. CEO's address Aspiro's CEO and president, Lena Wittbjer, began her address to the annual general meeting by commenting on Aspiro's development over the past year during which the company had: - increased its number of customers from five to 40 - increased it geographic presence from three to ten countries - extended its range of products from 25 to 180 services and service concepts - signed two global distribution agreements with Nokia and Ericsson, respectively - reduced its number of offices from ten to five in Sweden, Luxembourg and USA - reduced staff from 175 to 130 Lena Wittbjer later talked about how the company has developed from being a classic entrepreneurial company with a weak financial base to one that is business-driven with a sound economy. She also commented on the company's plans for a listing on the O-List of the OM Stockholm Exchange. The company hopes to be listed during the first half of 2001. Lena Wittbjer then gave a short account of the first quarterly report for 2001, which was released earlier during the day. The report showed that the value of orders received amounted to SEK 30.0 m, revenues SEK 13.1 m, and a result after financial item of SEK -31.8 m.
