High Growth in Mobile TV and Music, EBITDA in Target Interval

- Net sales for the second quarter were SEK 114.2 m (SEK 105.9 m), or growth of some 8%. High sales growth in the Mobile TV (84%) and Music (59%) segments. - Second-quarter EBITDA was SEK 5.2 m (SEK 11.5 m), consistent with previously communicated targets. - Earnings after tax for the second quarter were SEK 4.9 m (SEK 5.4 m). - Aspiro’s new music streaming solution, Wimp, was beta tested in partnership with Telenor and Platekompaniet, with several thousand users in Norway. - Aspiro subsidiary Rubberduck signed a new agreement with Telefonica O2 Ireland, to manage its mobile TV and video services. Rubberduck also achieved a placing in Red Herring’s top 100 most innovative European technology companies. - Aspiro will remain a growth company. Sales growth is primarily expected in the Mobile TV, Music and Mobile Solutions business segments. After the End of the Period - Aspiro expanded its partnership with TVNorge, by Mobile Solutions becoming its main partner on text and IVR services. This partnership is expected to provide Aspiro with further sales growth in 2009 and beyond. - Aspiro signed a music agreement in the US to outlicense its music download and streaming technology. This deal is expected to generate a minimum of SEK 10 m over a three-year period, but harbours significantly greater potential.
