Aspiro acquires InfoCreator
Aspiro acquires InfoCreator Aspiro and InfoCreator are today announcing a Letter of Intent for Aspiro to acquire the WAP content company InfoCreator. The acquisition is being carried out with Aspiro shares to the price of 1,75 MSEK. The acquisition, subject to customary due diligence procedure, will be finalised by the first of February. This is Aspiro's third business acquisition and is well in line with Aspiro's strategy of maintaining rapid growth, both organically and through the acquisitions of strategically important companies. InfoCreator has created the generic concept WAP-link allowing organisations and companies to create their own content and information to be displayed in WAP-phones. One of the owners of InfoCreator, Mr Magnus Liljegren, will be responsible for Aspiro's Content Provider Partner Program. Mr Liljegren has earlier held the position of Sales Director at Pactive, a news company specialized in electronic presentations on the web and in mobile phones. - Aspiro sees InfoCreator as a strategic acquisition for strengthening Aspiro's total solution for bringing content and information via our applications and platforms to mobile terminals.
