Aspiro and Midab are today announcing that Aspiro is acquiring the IT/Telecom consulting company Midab. Midab is a highly qualified company, principally in business and support systems for telecom companies.

This is Aspiro’s second business acquisition and is well in line with Aspiro’s strategy of maintaining rapid growth, both organically and through the purchase of strategically significant companies. The acquisition is being carried out with 33 855 Aspiro shares and the purchase is going ahead after being approved by Aspiro’s shareholders’ meeting on 10 January. “Aspiro sees Midab as an extremely strategic acquisition for strengthening Aspiro’s competence in the field of advanced systems development for the telecom sector”, says Christer Månsson, Merger and Acquisition manager at Aspiro. “Midab’s and Aspiro’s activities are particularly compatible from a business point of view“, comments Kjell Kristiansson, MD of Midab. “Operating within the Aspiro Group also gives Midab’s personnel an opportunity to further develop our core competences.” For further information, please contact: Christer Månsson, Merger & Acquisition, Aspiro, tel. +46 709-91 80 01 Tomas Althén, Chairman of the Board, Aspiro, tel. +46 708-15 16 15
