Aspiro and Cybird to Join Forces for Mobile Services Aspiro today announces that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed regarding an alliance between Aspiro and the Japanese company Cybird. Cybird, which has delivered more than 40 services to DoCoMo, is the leading mobile Internet company on the Japanese market, a market that today has 10 million users. The agreement means that the companies will together develop, sell and deliver mobile services and applications globally. The alliance is of great strategic importance. Initially it means that both companies will make each other's products available in Europe and Asia, including Japan. In the long term, a WAP and I-Mode competence centers are planned as well as mutual product launches on the North American market. The MoU between Aspiro and Cybird means that the companies will initially cooperate in making each other's products available in Europe and Asia (including Japan), establishing WAP and i-Mode competence centers and expanding the co-operation with key content providers. The target markets for sales and marketing activities are operators, portals and enterprises that want to develop their relations with customers as well as their internal mobile workforces via mobile portals and services.
