Aspiro has today reached an agreed arrangement with Opplysningen to extend the existing contract for the sale of Aspiro’s search services transfer per 1 May 2009. The Norwegian Competition Authority's decision not to approve the merger between Opplysningen Mobil AS and Aspiro Søk AS has been appealed to the Norwegian Ministry. Their decision is expected in April 2009.

The original purchase price amounted to NOK 145 m, but since the transfer does not occur until May 1 2009 and Aspiro will keep the business and its earnings until then, the purchase price amounts to 125 MNOK.

Aspiro continues to run the search services as usual until the possible approval of the transaction. During the period January to September 2008, the business had a turnover of approximately SEK 43 m with an EBITDA of around SEK 36 m.
