Aspiro becomes MTV España's mobile supplier

Aspiro has signed an agreement with MTV España to become MTV España's technical provider of music content to mobile phones. The agreement, which initially runs for twelve months, means that MTV España will be able to offer ring tones from the MTV España Top Interactive Lists, video-streaming from their best videos, etc in WAP and i.mode

Mobile entertainment supplier Aspiro and music channel MTV España have signed a one-year agreement, making Aspiro a supplier of MTV España's mobile music services on the Spanish market. The agreement is built upon revenue sharing with and an initial fee for installation of technical systems (WAP- and i.mode portals). MTV España's mobile music services will include: - polyphonic ringtones from MTV EspañaTop Interactive Lists - interviews with celebrities - information on special events like MTV awards and MTV Day - video streaming from their best videos MTV España's mobile services on WAP platforms will be launched during late autumn through the Spanish mobile operators Telefonica, Amena and Vodafone, which together reach about 33 million subscribers.
