Aspiro chosen as preferred provider of mobile content services to the Norwegian mobile operator NetCom

NetCom the second largest mobile operator in Norway has chosen Aspiro, in competition with several other European providers, as its preferred provider of mobile content services. Aspiro will manage all entertainment categories at NetCom’s web and wap portals. NetCom will be one of Aspiro’s major partners, based on expected net sales.

As from 1st February 2005 Aspiro will manage the entertainment categories games, sounds (ring tones, music etc), animations and color pictures at NetCom’s web and wap portals. Aspiro contributes with its experience in consumer behavior, product portfolio and distribution solution for mobile services. In co-operation with NetCom, Aspiro will manage these categories by initiating and carrying out events. The co-operation will be a part of Aspiro’s largest business area Media Partners. NetCom will be one of Aspiro’s major partners, based on expected net sales. - NetCom will become an important partner to us. The agreement is a result of our effort to reach organic growth by entering new major co-operations, says Erik Hansen, CEO at Aspiro.
