Aspiro completes acquisition of Mobile Entry- strengthens Business Solutions

Effective today, Aspiro has acquired the remaining shares in the Norwegian company Mobile Entry. The acquisition is part of Aspiro’s strategy to strengthen its operations within the Business Solutions area. Mobile Entry develops technology, solutions and concepts for mobile interactivity and marketing.

Background
In September 2007, Aspiro acquired 25.5 percent of the stocks in Mobile Entry AS. Aspiro has now chosen to acquire the remaining 74.5 percent of the stocks in the company. The purchase price for the remaining stocks is NOK 4.25 m cash. The transaction is not expected to generate any significant earnings effect for Aspiro in 2008.

Motivation for the Take-over
The acquisition of Mobile Entry is part of Aspiros strategy for the Business Solutions area and mobile platforms for the corporate market.

Mobile Entry has satisfied customers and in addition, a platform that places Aspiro in the leading position for the technological development in the area, says Gunnar Sellæg, CEO of Aspiro.

Mobile Entry is a Norwegian company developing technology, solutions and concepts for mobile interactivity and marketing. Mobile Entry focuses on delivery to media corporations, advertisers and companies needing to exploit mobile technology as a communications channel. Among their customers are VG Multimedia, Aftenposten, Hjemmet Mortensen, Aftonbladet, Svenska Dagbladet and the Broaden Community. Mobile Entry’s net revenue for the first six months of 2008 was some NOK 1 m, with earnings of some NOK 0,1 m. Mobile Entry also has a cash holding of some NOK 1,6 m.
