Aspiro employees redeem stock options
Aspiro employees have requested redemption of 2,315,000 stock options in accordance with the stock option plan 2009/2011, which was decided by the AGM 2009 and had its closing date on 30 June 2011. The stock options gave the right to receive an equivalent number of shares in Aspiro for an exercise price of 1,30 SEK per share. The program included five million stock options of which 3,187,500 were eligible for redemption by 30 June 2011. The stock options which have not been exercised have automatically been canceled.
Redemption means that Aspiro issue 2,315,000 new shares for a total proceeds of 3,009,500 SEK. The share capital will be increased by 2,315,000 SEK. The new shares are expected to be admitted to trading after registration with the Companies Registration Office on or about July 13.
