Aspiro, a leading provider of mobile entertainment in Northern Europe, initiates cooperation with Belgian mobile operator BASE, providing an Inpoc branded mobile store on the operator’s mobile portal. This is the first mobile entertainment cooperation Aspiro initiates with an operator outside its traditional markets in the Nordic and Baltic countries.

BASE is part of the Dutch KPN-group and is the fastest growing operator in the Belgian market with a total customer base of approximately 3.4 million users. The Inpoc shop Aspiro launches on BASE’s mobile portal will provide end users with mobile entertainment services such as ring tones, games, pictures, animations and videos.

– Aspiro’s ambition within mobile entertainment is growth through cooperation with operators outside the Nordic and Baltic regions. BASE will be the first operator outside our traditional markets that we run a mobile entertainment shop for. We have an attractive retail model, maximizing sales and income for the operator. In addition, BASE shares our ambitions to provide the end users with the best possible retail experience in our shops, says Gunnar Sellæg, CEO of Aspiro.

– I am glad that Aspiro have agreed to set up an Inpoc store on our mobile portal, adding new products and sharing its retail experience from the highly advanced Scandinavian markets. Their knowledge of mobile consumer behaviour is an asset to us, says Marc Verduyckt, Partnership & Product Manager, BASE.
