Aspiro has signed an agreement to launch the mobile game "Lifestylers Gold Edition" via one of the largest telecom operators in USA. Lifestylers is, since earlier, offered via mobile operators on nine European and American markets and has a proven track record of being very popular among mobile phone users. The game will become available to the operator’s subscribers in June.

Aspiro today announces that it has signed an agreement with one of the largest mobile operators in USA to launch the mobile game Lifestylers on the US market. Aspiro’s Lifestylers is a mobile role-playing game where the users choose an alias, with certain characteristics, which competes and interacts with other contestants’ alias. The game is operator independent, which means that every player has access to and can play against the entire global user base of Lifestylers. Aspiro’s Lifestylers game is originally developed as a brand of its own, but has on several occasions successfully been reprogrammed and adjusted to complement TV-series and other media events. Lifestylers Gold Edition is a newly launched version of the game with improved graphics and interface as well as additional functions added, such as being able to invite new friends to the game. In the Gold Edition version, the contestants are also able to chat with each other. Additionally, a global website to support the game and the users has been launched at http://www.lifestylers.com/. The agreement with the operator initially runs for one year and is built upon a traffic revenue sharing model. Lifestylers will hence be launched to the American subscribers as a service with no premium fee. The player only pays for the data-traffic used when playing the game. Experience shows that this is the most efficient business model in order to drive usage of the game. Lifestylers will be live with 15 operators in nine markets when this operator has launched the game in June. The average game sessions when playing Lifestylers are 15 minutes long, hence driving substantial traffic for the operators. With some operator channels, Lifestylers generates approximately 15 GB of data on a monthly basis.
