Aspiro signs agreement with British-based World Wide Events to provide global event news coverage to mobile phones

Aspiro, the Swedish provider of mobile applications and services, and World Wide Events, the British-based event coverage content provider, today announced that they have signed a one-year agreement. The deal will give mobile phone users direct access to WWE's comprehensive global event listing via mobile applications developed by Aspiro.

World Wide Events' website (wwevents.com) brings together news and details of thousands of events happening in different countries around the world. This wealth of information is to be packaged with a variety of Aspiro applications to make it accessible to mobile phone users. The agreement means that users will now be able to search for a specific event or information by title, topic or area for up to twelve months ahead. Details provided include event start and end dates, name of event, location, brief description and contact details for those looking for additional information.
