Aspiro has signed an agreement with TVNorge regarding delivery and maintenance of a mobile gateway, valid for interactive mobile services in TVNorge’s channels. The agreement will generate revenue growth, but is not expected to generate any significant earnings effect for Aspiro in 2008.

The agreement gives Aspiro a broad distribution through commercial channels with users in all target groups. The agreement is valid for all editorial and commercial mobile activities and content services. This includes for instance TVNorges interactive program Mess-TV. Aspiro will maintain TVNorges mobile portal and all SMS- and MMS traffic through the short code 1900.

- TVNorge acknowledges the possibilities and value in using the mobile phone as a communication channel and Aspiro as a leading industry player will contribute with experience and competence to make this possible. The agreement strengthens our position within our business segment Business Solutions and contributes to top line growth, says Gunnar Sellæg, CEO of Aspiro.

Thomas Houge, Vice President New Media International ProSiebenSat.1 Group and Head of New Media in Norway, says that this is a strategic cooperation and part of the company’s development of the mobile phone as a communication channel towards its viewers.

- Through the agreement with Aspiro, we can offer our viewers a multitude of services, and at the same time make new distributional channels available for our own content, says Thomas Houge.
