Aspiro’s subsidiary Rubberduck Media Lab, a leading provider of mobile TV and video services for network operators and broadcasters worldwide, has delivered an upgraded capacity of the platform hosted in Norway for the German & Austrian markets. The agreement is estimated to be worth over 50 MSEK.

The agreement is the finalization of the letter of intent that was announced in December. Rubberduck Media Lab’s platform will now support multiple thousands of simultaneous users of Mobile-TV, a service which has proved to be very successful in Germany. The growing trends have been influenced by the live sporting events within the market and the launch of customised applications which enable end users to access and view the service easily. - We are very exited about the large increase in end-user demand for this service and are happy to now be able to deliver significantly increased capacity to this customer. The agreement also represents a large increase in revenues, continuing the brisk growth in our business unit Mobile TV, comments Gunnar Sellæg, CEO of Aspiro.
