Aspiro has signed an agreement with the British based mobile operator mmO2 to supply 41mobile applications to all markets served by O2, including more than 18 million subscribers. Aspiro will deliver the applications as one of O2's Preferred Publishing Partners.

mmO2 provides mobile services in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland and the Isle of Man. In total, the company serves over 18.3 million mobile subscribers. In November, O2 launched its market place "Revolution", where O2's subscribers can access various mobile services. Revolution will be available in all O2 markets and the operator is planning to market the services actively during the coming year. O2 is aiming to provide approximately a thousand different mobile applications through Revolution within a year and has signed agreements with several external application developers. As a preferred publishing partner Aspiro will deliver 41 mobile services to Revolution for commercial launch during December. "We have appointed Aspiro as a preferred publishing partner to the Revolution service. This was based on the quality and variety of applications that their product portfolio offers," says Bradley de Souza at O2. "I find their portfolio of colour services particularly attractive, and colour is something we will be pushing in future Revolution marketing campaigns." Aspiro's applications for Revolution mainly consist of games and entertainment services of which the interactive game “Lifestylers” is expected to generate considerable traffic. Last year, Aspiro's subsidiary Picofun delivered a similar game for O2’s Big Brother campaign and it generated almost 70,000 new WAP-subscribers only during the first 100 days. The agreement is based on revenue sharing and is expected to generate at least SEK 500 000 during the first twelve months.
