Aspiros starts co-operation with Telia Sonera in Finland

Aspiro launched three mobile stores, under proprietary brand Inpoc, at Telia Sonera’s new Finnish wap portal Surfport today. Recently Aspiro launched a store at the portal with MTV. Telia Sonera is Aspiro’s first media partner in Finland. Aspiro already has a co-operation with Swedish Telia Sonera.

Aspiro launched three mobile stores at Telia Soneras new wap portal Surfport today. The stores are marketed under Aspiro’s proprietary brand Inpoc. The three stores; Inpoc Games, Inpoc Image and Inpoc Music, covers the mobile service categories; games, image/video and music. Recently Aspiro also launched a store together with MTV at Telia Soneras Finnish portal. In the MTV store one can buy ring tones, celebrity pictures, video clips from MTV shows and games. MTV News and TV Guide are also available at the store. Aspiro has built and will manage the store for MTV. The co-operation gives Aspiro access to MTVs content for other channels. The new co-operation is a part of one of Aspiro’s growth strategies to enter new geographical markets with present partners. Since several years Aspiro has a co-operation with Swedish Telia Sonera. Aspiro’s stores at Telia Sonera’s Swedish portal were launched in July. Today Aspiro also published that it acquired Boomi, one of Finland’s largest mobile content services businesses. Boomi has no media partners business. - This is important for us since Telia Sonera is Aspiro’s first media partner in Finland. The co-operation with Telia Sonera in Sweden has worked very well and it is natural for us to follow them into Finland, says Johan Lenander, CEO Aspiro.
