Marie Persson Björkman is to be elected as new member of Aspiro's Board of Directors at the next general meeting of shareholders. Mrs Björkman is today employed by Vodafone Sweden as director of BA Service Provision and of Vodafone’s commercial launch of 3G on the Swedish market.

Conditional upon the approval at the next general meeting of shareholders, the Nominations Committee proposes that Marie Persson Björkman will become ordinary member of the Aspiro Board of Directors. Marie Persson Björkman, 43 years old, is today employed by Vodafone Sweden as director of BA Service Provision. She is a member of the commercial management team and responsible for the commercial launch of 3G. Mrs Björkman has previously held several positions within the WM-data Group, e.g. CEO of WM-data Life Science. She has also been working as Technical Attaché covering the IT- and telecom sectors and entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley, USA. Today, mrs Björkman is member of the Board in The Interactive Institute and in Ongame, and is also holding commissions of trust in IVA and earlier also in the IT-commission, an advisory institution appointed by the Swedish government. ”Aspiro is acting on a rapidly expanding market where the role of the telecom operators is essential. Marie Persson Björkman will, with her experience from the IT- and telecom sectors and her broad global network within the operator segment, become an important contributor to Aspiro’s continuous expansion,” says Johan Lenander, chairman of the Board of Aspiro. Göran Strandberg, Prosper Capital, has informed that he wishes to resign from the Board of Directors at the next general meeting of shareholders, as Prosper Capital is no longer a shareholder of Aspiro’s. Göran Strandberg was elected as member of the Board in conjunction with Aspiro’s acquisition of Melody Interactive Solutions (Mobileits), in which he held a position as member of the Board.
