Fun tones in your mobile

As an alternative to the traditional ring signals, Aspiro is now launching Fun Tones for the mobile phone. Fun Tones is a newly developed service, available for downloading at the website www.mobilehits.se. Fun Tones will also be available at several telecom operators' portals within short.

Aspiro has developed a new mobile service called Fun Tones as an alternative to traditional ring signals. Fun Tones consist of recorded real sounds, such as police sirens, barking dogs or comments such as ”Your phone is ringing”, for example. This is a unique service, which Aspiro has developed out of it's real tone format normally used when producing real music for ring signals. ”We are experiencing an increased demand for services built on a sense of humor. With these new formats and more advanced mobile phones, we are now able to offer funny ring signals which makes people laugh or become startled. We have received several inquiries from operators demanding this particular service and the consumers who have tested the service just love it!” says Johan Nordquist, marketing manager for Fun Tones at Aspiro. Initially, the service will be available at www.mobilehits.se and wap.mobilehits.se, but will soon also be launched at several telecom operators'. Today, Aspiro offers its service - as a sub-supplier or via its own music shop Mobilehits - at several operators' channels, for example Vodafone, Telefonica, 3, 02, Comviq and TeliaSonera.
