Johan Lenander acting CEO of Aspiro, Erik Mitteregger Chairman of the Board for the present

Aspiro’s Board has today appointed Aspiro’s Executive Chairman Johan Lenander as acting CEO of the company until a new CEO has been recruited. Erik Mitteregger was appointed Chairman of the Board. Johan Lenander will remain as a member of the Board.

In connection with the announcement of the Board’s proposal to acquire Schibsted Mobile it was stated that Aspiro’s present CEO Erik Hansen would be responsible for the integration process and lead the merged company until the summer. The main part of the integration has now been successfully completed and Erik Hansen is therefore leaving the position as CEO. Johan Lenander is taking over as acting CEO effective as of today. Johan Lenander has been a Board member since 2002 and since 2003 he is Executive Chairman with responsibility for strategic issues affecting acquisitions, business development and contacts with the capital markets. – The Board is very pleased that Johan has accepted the position as acting CEO until the recruitment of a new CEO has been completed. He has in-depth knowledge about the company and the industry, which means that we immediately can start the process of implementing the strategies that will ensure continuous growth, profitability and a future position as a leading provider of mobile content in Europe. The Board would like to thank Erik Hansen for a strong achievement overseeing the integration process, says Erik Mitteregger. At today’s Board meeting Erik Mitteregger was appointed Chairman of the Board. Erik Mitteregger has been a Board member since 2003 and is also an active stockholder and main owner and/or Board member in a number of companies, including Kinnevik, Invik and Sign On. He is a former senior analyst and member of Alfred Berg’s group management, as well as founder partner and asset manager at Brummer & Partners Kapitalförvaltning.
