Lars Jarnryd to join Aspiro's board of directors Aspiro's board of directors will be increased at the company's coming annual general meeting with the election of Lars Jarnryd, the former CEO of Ericsson in France. Jarnryd, who is currently an active board member of five international telecom companies, will make an important contribution to Aspiro's business operations through his wide knowledge and experience of the telecom industry and extensive contact network in Europe and the USA. Lars Jarnryd is to become Aspiro's new member of the board of directors. Jarnryd, whose previous appointment was as CEO of Ericsson in France, is expected to be elected to the board of directors at Aspiro's next annual general meeting on May 9, 2001. Jarnryd, 61, has worked at Ericsson for 17 years including periods in France and America. While in France he helped to turn Ericsson into one of the country's largest mobile telecom providers in just a couple of years. Prior to joining Ericsson Jarnryd worked for SKF and Electrolux in different regions of the world. He is currently an active board member in five international telecom companies.
