Aspiro has signed an agreement with TeliaSonera regarding distribution of games on the operator’s mobile portals. Aspiro will be the main game provider to TeliaSonera. Sweden and Finland will be the first countries to launch.

Aspiro previously had an agreement with TeliaSonera, which is now expanded. The agreement will to a certain extent replace existing operations in Aspiro, but is expected to generate an increase in net revenues, especially in Finland.

Aspiro purchases and presents the content, supply sales and marketing, deliver to the customer and handle maintenance and surveillance. The agreement is valid for Aspiro AB and subsidiaries, initially in Sweden and Finland, but may also be extended by TeliaSonera to other countries.

– Mobile games is one of Aspiros most important product areas whining our business segment Mobile Entertainment. This is why we are very pleased to have signed this agreement. It is also important for us to secure space and priority with TeliaSonera for a substantial amount of time, says Gunnar Sellæg, Aspiro’s CEO.

– With the mobile phone as your best friend in daily life, we see an increasing demand for entertainment. Mobile games is an area that we predict will have a strong growth in the future, and Aspiro is able to provide us with an excellent solution, says Indra Åsander, European chief of Mobile Content services of TeliaSonera.
