As announced previously, a 4 to 1 share split will take place with a record date of the 4th of June and the share will trade with the new nominal value on the Stockholm Stock Exchange from the 2nd of June. The new shares will be issued at a subscription price of SEK 70 per share after the share split. Ten Series A shares will carry rights to subscribe for one new Series A share and ten Series B shares will carry rights to subscribe for one new Series B share.

 

The rights issue provides ASSA ABLOY with proceeds of approximately SEK 2 billion. The proceeds will be used for the financing of acquisitions. The principal shareholders of the Company, Metra Oy Ab, Investment AB Latour, SÄKI AB and Melker Schörling (with associated companies), who represent 39% of the shares in the Company, are expected to take up the major part of their  pre-emptive rights in the rights issue.

 

2 June The ASSA ABLOY share trades with a new nominal value on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

 

4 June Record date for the bonus issue and 4 to 1 share split.

            The Extraordinary General Meeting votes on the Board's decision.

 

8 June The share is listed ex-rights to participate in the rights issue.

 

10 June Record date for receipt of pre-emptive rights, i.e. those shareholders who are registered as shareholders in ASSA ABLOY's share register on that day will be issued pre-emptive rights to participate in the rights issue.

 

Starting on 14 June                 Trading in pre-emptive rights.
until and including 29 June

 

Starting on 14 June                  Subscription and settlement period.
