ASSA ABLOY signs five-year loan agreement with international bank syndicate
The credit facility was arranged by ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and SEB Debt Capital Markets. SEB Debt Capital Markets is facility agent. The transaction has had a very positive response from the market, which is why ASSA ABLOY AB has chosen to increase the amount from EUR 1,000 million to 1,200 million. The banks' commitments have also been scaled back.
The facility replaces the USD 500 million facility that was signed in June 1997 and will mainly be used to fund the acquisition of Yale Intruder Security Group and to be available for future acquisitions.
