The acquisition of ActivIdentity Corporation has now been completed

The acquisition of ActivIdentity Corporation ("ActivIdentity") has been approved by the shareholders of ActivIdentity. The acquisition has now been completed.

ActivIdentity's market leadership in intelligent identity assurance, broad portfolio of complementary credential management, strong authentication, and security client products and Professional Services capabilities will complement ASSA ABLOY's HID Global Business Unit.

ActivIdentity is based in California and has offices in France, UK, Germany, Sweden, Australia and Japan, employs 223 people and had a turnover of USD 58 M for the fiscal year ended September 2010.

Initially, the acquisition will be slightly dilutive to earnings per share.
