ATE Truck and Trailer Sales Ltd is joining in the celebrations as truck racing makes a welcome return to Silverstone this weekend. It has been 30 years since the famous racing circuit hosted a truck racing event and they are celebrating in style with a weekend, family-friendly Trucking Festival to include British and International truck racing.

ATE, sponsors of Jenkins Motorsport truck racing team (#MANinBlack), driven by 2011 BTRA Champion Dave Jenkins, will giving visitors to their stand the chance to meet the racing team and drivers and see the racing truck up close, as well as in action, over the two day event.

The ATE stand also features a new Schmitz refrigerated trailer with Thermo King refrigeration, a Schmitz curtainsider, new Rojo low loaders and Krone Euroliners. ATE will also be showcasing trailers that have been refurbished to the highest standards at their Wolverhampton-based workshop. Along with ATE representatives, staff from Thermo King, Rojo, Krone and Schmitz will be available to talk to visitors about the various products on display.

The event promises to be a great family day out, as well as racing there will be a truck show, customised van displays, various manufacturer and dealer displays and a truck market area. Visitors will also be treated to displays including a ‘live drive’ demo area to test drive new models.

James Jenkins, Managing Director of ATE and Manager of the Jenkins Motorsport team, commented,
“We are delighted to be attending this landmark event and to have some great products displayed on our stand. The event itself will be a great family day out and we’re pleased to be able to offer visitors the added opportunity of a close-up view of the race truck and to meet the ATE-sponsored truck racing team. Come and see us in the manufacturer’s area opposite Mercedes Benz.”
