Global Travel Plus, a global emergency assistance services company based in Princeton, N.J., has announced the release of its new Mobile App, complete with a unique Coverage Indicator feature.

Turning the Coverage Indicator on in the setup screen and setting the home address allows a traveler to determine if they are eligible for services.  A bar at the top of the Apps’ home screen displays the amount of miles from home and the words “Active” or “Inactive.”

Stephanie Croquez, Vice President of Business Development for Global Travel Plus, said, “The Coverage Indicator feature gives our App more practical functionality than most of the travel assistance Apps out there. It really sets us apart and shows that we’re always finding ways to support our travelers and differentiate ourselves in the marketplace.”

Currently the Coverage Indicator is only available on iPhone but will be available for Android in the upcoming weeks.
