 The week of October 3-9 Will Honor Those who Provide Nutrition Services to Promote Health and Wellness

Louisville, KY (September 9, 2011)The Association for Healthcare Foodservice (AHF), www.healthcarefoodservice.org, will continue it’s tradition of celebrating National Healthcare Foodservice Workers Week™, October 3-9, 2011. The week is set aside annually to honor healthcare food and nutrition professionals in self-operated facilities--the teams who demonstrate every day why self-operation is the industry's best practice.

In honor of the event AHF is looking for short, original videos that showcase how members celebrate during AHF’s special week. The winning facility will be featured on AHF’s YouTube channel. Last year’s winning video was submitted by the University of Missouri Health System http://bit.ly/n0OwgO
