Follow Shiro into a topsy-turvy adventure
Moenchengladbach/Germany, November 19th, 2015 – If things go wrong or there is a huge hustle and bustle, people often say: “The world is standing on its head!” In astragon Entertainment’s 2D-platform game Gravity Island players will literally be able to take the world – or better yet gravity – off its hinges. Developed by ILIKESCIFI Games und Clemént Willay Games the brightly colored adventure features the lovable character Shiro who will take up his fight against gravity on smartphones and tablets using iOS® in 2016.
Somewhere on a faraway island lives Shiro, a small, cuddly creature with very special abilities. His favourite hobby: collecting magic fireflies, the so called Lumies, and storing them in his charmed lantern. Unfortunately, our furry friend is quite a clumsy fellow, so it is no wonder that he manages to one day break his precious lantern! All of the Lumies escape into the air and settle throughout the four worlds of Gravity Island. Of course Shiro immediately sets out to find and collect his dear pets!
During his exciting adventure, Shiro will travel through 80 challenging levels in four worlds: Jungle, Ice, Fire and the Dreamworld. Here, he will not only face numerous obstacles and traps but also the Lumies themselves, who have found some very creative hiding-places in quite impossible corners of every level. Not infrequently the player will have to find an answer to the question: “How on earth will I get there?” That is where Shiro’s special abilities come into play. He can use distinctively marked spots in the level to change the forces of gravity. By doing this, he can saunter along walls and ceilings, return gravity back to its original state in the right moment or make it work in another direction. Gravity Island will frequently require you to think out of the box to reach your goal!
