REPURCHASES OF SHARES IN ASTRAZENECA PLC 8 June 2000 AstraZeneca PLC announces that on 8 June 2000, it purchased for cancellation 455,000 ordinary shares of AstraZeneca PLC at a price of 2692 pence per share. Upon the cancellation of these shares, the number of shares in issue will be 1,766,284,850. 9 June 2000 AstraZeneca PLC announces that on 9 June 2000, it purchased for cancellation 415,000 ordinary shares of AstraZeneca PLC at a price of 2720 pence per share. Upon the cancellation of these shares, the number of shares in issue will be 1,765,869,850.
