Welcome to cover the 2025 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award Ceremony
On Monday, June 9, the French author Marion Brunet will receive the 2025 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award at Konserthuset in Stockholm. The award diploma will be presented by HRH Prince Carl Philip of Sweden.
Time: Monday, June 9 at 18–19 CET. The seats must be taken at the latest 17:45.
Place: Konserthuset, Stockholm
During a grand evening, we celebrate Marion Brunet and her authorship. The host of the evening is Farah Abadi.

About Marion Brunet
Marion Brunet is a French author whose first novel, Frangine (Sister), was published in 2013. In her books, Brunet spotlights burning social issues and draws insightful portraits of vulnerable groups and young people in revolt. Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award

The Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award was created in 2002 by the Swedish government to promote every child’s right to great stories. This global award is given annually to a person or organisation for their outstanding contribution to children’s and young adult literature. With a prize of five million Swedish kronor, it is the largest award of its kind. Administrated by the Swedish Arts Council.
