Atlas Copco acquires U.S. compressor distributor
Stockholm, Sweden, December 15, 2015: Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, has acquired the operational assets of Air Supply Systems Inc., which distributes and services compressors and accessories.
Air Supply Systems is based in Franklin, near Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Six employees are joining Atlas Copco.
The company, which was privately owned, sells, installs and services Atlas Copco compressed air products, mainly in southeastern Wisconsin.
“We have an established relationship with this high-quality organization, and this acquisition will further strengthen our relations with our customers,” said Nico Delvaux, President of Atlas Copco’s Compressor Technique business area.
The acquired company becomes part of Atlas Copco Compressors LLC. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
