Atlas Copco completes acquisition of MEYCO

Stockholm, Sweden, April 3, 2013: Atlas Copco (Schweiz) AG has closed the acquisition of Switzerland-based MEYCO Equipment business.

MEYCO had revenues in 2012 of MEUR 22 (MSEK 190) and about 45 employees. Its products include carrier-mounted concrete spraying equipment, concrete spraying arms, pumps and dosing units, mainly for underground operations.

The acquired business is part of the Underground Rock Excavation division within the Mining and Rock Excavation Technique business area.

Atlas Copco announced on Dec. 21, 2012 that it had agreed to purchase MEYCO.
