Atlas Copco completes Ekomak acquisition

Stockholm, Sweden, August 2, 2012: Atlas Copco has completed the acquisition of Ekomak, a Turkish manufacturer of industrial screw compressors.

Ekomak had revenues in the last 12 months of MEUR 23 (around MSEK 200) and about 160 employees. In Turkey, the company develops, produces and sells stationary, oil-injected screw compressors, including variable frequency drive options. Ekomak also has its own sales and service operations in Russia and Germany and a network of distributors for other countries.

Ekomak is part of the Industrial Air division within Atlas Copco’s business area Compressor Technique.
